Alright, I know I always say the each project is my favorite, but really, this one has GOT to be one of my all-time FAVS! It’s been such a dream working with Ellery Mae Candle Co to design her new logo and Shopify website – she is seriously a dream client! I had a blast creating her brand experience and I can’t wait to finally reveal it!
With each client, I send out a branding questionnaire for them to fill out. Janelle so thoughtfully and intentionally answered each question and because of this, we were able to drawn on her unique story to create a beautiful logo with deep meaning. The hand-drawn fern in her logo has 3 leaves, representing her (the owner), her grandmother (Edna Mae) and her father. Both her grandmother and her father have played pivotal, influential roles in her life and business. I love that this heritage will be carried through each aspect of her business – on every single candle she makes. The fern also represents new growth and learning – a continuous reminder and personal pledge for her to never stop growing and learning.
Janelle’s website was designed on Shopify. As an e-commerce business, Shopify was a no brainer. Shopify has amazing e-commerce abilities and analytics that make selling a breeze. Although Shopify may not have the same creative freedom as ShowIt we’re still able to create a beautiful, strategic website.
