Working with Megan Owens has been such a pleasure. She’s not only my very first photography website client, but she’s a dear friend as well! Megan and I met in Houston, Texas, both serving a mission for our church! (Fun Fact: We both were called on to speak exclusively Spanish on our mission! But that’s another story for another day.) Creating this ShowIt website for Megan was a blast!
Hands down, my favorite page of the website is her about page. Take a look at her fun facts section – seriously, it’s awesome! I love the Polaroid-style photography graphics we added throughout the website. It’s such a fun, personal touch and adds a lot of dimension to the site.
Choosing ShowIt for Megan’s website platform was a no brainer. Photography websites are ShowIt’s bread and butter – the platform was specially made to serve photographers and service-based creatives! By using ShowIt, we were able to have essentially limitless creative freedom and showcase Megan’s gorgeous photography in a fresh, creative way. I seriously love creating on ShowIt!
Megan didn’t have an official logo or branding when we started and wasn’t quite ready to invest in a full branding package, we created a simple, tasteful logo and submark for her. When you’re just starting out, I highly recommend starting simple!
